Square, small and smart! The 3 "S" scarves is here!

 Small yet functional

Were you ever in need of just a tiny add-on to your outfit, a detail to your daily resemblece to make a settled statemet, an eye-catcher that is stylish but not "too loud"?

Here's THE REASON for small scarves.

They exist for this exact purpose: making you feel special!

Small square scarves.

This scarf was hand painted by me, on a small piece of silk (22 x 22 inches), with a deep blue navy shade for the tree silquette and dreamy teal - blue combo for the background.

See Thee In Blue silk scarf on Etsy HERE

This is a peacock feather. A magpie wing. This delicate yet beautifully balanced combo of colors works miracles, looking gorgeous each and every day.
A small piece of art to take with you, whenever you go.

Detailed and shiny!

Semi translucent silk makes wonders with magpie color pallette.

Just look how smooth this scarf is!

Big Comeback.

So yeah, if you ever wonder if it's possible to forget about something for 3 years... Yeah, that's what happened here!

I got swamped with social media tasks and kinda drifted away from blogging!

The good news is I've got A TON of new scarves to share with you!

Forget Me Not silk scarf

Oh, this is one of my all-time favorites! It's big (180 by 60 centimeters) and soooo bluueeeeeee—it's just blue in a sea of blue-ness. Blue-madness!

Soft and see-through, a 100% natural silk

Front and back of the scarf are the same: the beauty of hand painted silk!

Close up for the Forget Me Not scarf: flowers are really big!

See how delicate and light the Habotai silk is!

The only issue I've got with this scarf, is that it takes at least 3 days to paint... while I can't move the easel from my table, it's too big.
And here's the answer to your question: why I am back today?

Well, the next Forget Me Not scarf is on my table, drying. And I'm waiting for an opportunity to paint the details once the paints are dry enough to work with!

The Forget Me Not scarf can be order on Etsy - at my MinkuLUL silk scarf shop here!

The Tit Birds scarf

Don't you just love them? They are like little fluttering ray of sunshine on a gloomy winter day.
I was asked to paint a Tit Birds scarf and here's how it turned out!

I added some red berries to spice up the color set for this scarves. I like all blue scarfs, but a dash of yellow and a bit of red makes it pop (I hope!)

Hydrangea scarf... or Hortensia scarf?

Hydrangea or Hortensia? How is this flower called in your country?

This silk scarf was designed for my closest friend on her birthday... and it took me a YEAR! Oh yes, full year, from last July... but I am satisfied and she really likes it so I figure it was worth the wait :) The scarf is in turquoise - blue - grayish colors with white details and white border (oh yes, inspired by Japanese Kimono Art).
This Hortensia scarf is painted on Habotai Light (5mm natural silk) very delicate and a bit glossy. Hope you will like it!

PS in Poland we call it simply Hortensia. You would not believe it how popular is this Japanese flower in our country gardens :)

Fire and ice... on a silk scarfs!

Here's two twin silk scarfs from my collection. Fire and ice, ombre red and ombre blue, both with white swirls representing dancing of flames or dancing of frost. I really hope you will like it!

As you can see both designs have the same general idea, it's a quite simple idea but lots and lots of painting.

I am really proud of the ombre effect, it lets you to choose the exact tone of color that will be complementing your outfit. You can wear it as a dark or very bright scarf - whichever suits you more at the moment.

The Frost scarf (or Snow scarf) was created first, this late winter. The Fire scarf (Flame scarf) was created as a custom request for a very nice person from RPA.
